Beau caught the Tiktok wave out of the 2020 pandemic by creating mostly one-person skits spoofing climbing and dirtbag life. By 2021, he’d started to build a “career” out of it as he set up his tripod in a climbing area near you to carry out silly and self-deprecating comedy for his 100k+ followers. All the while, he was actually living out of his Subaru Forester, climbing his butt off, and scraping together the road life. This lent and authenticity to his creative work that appealed to many, including your not so humble host. Though Beau has walked through the valley of the influencer, he feared no content, and the rod and staff of comedy was his protector. As Martino turns a corner to more mainstream acting and comedy writing, he looks back on his short but fiery career on the very small screen with aplomb.
